At around the midpoint, I will also be running the San Jose Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon on October 3, which I’m also training for to run it in sub-2 hours. The flat course should help given that the temperature tends to rise up to the 80s F after 10am, so heat is definitely something to plan for when training for this marathon.įrom today, I have 19 weeks to train for the marathon, and I’m hoping to finish within 4 hours 30 minutes (there’s no time limit to finish the marathon, though!).
